Type: Perennial
Sun / water: Full shade to partial sun / water as needed; pretty hardy when grown in shade
When I plant it: Late winter, early summer, even during the hot summer, though it struggles a bit if it is not in shade when planted in the heat.
What I’ve seen
Arrowhead is a vining plant and will travel. It spreads across the ground, and if a stem drops from a hanging basket it is happy to take up residence wherever there is dirt.
How I use it
Primarily for looks. It can be toxic when handled and especially if eaten, so wash your hands after handling.
