Oregano

Hardy and generous. Give it room, or it will take over the bed.

Type: Perennial herb

Sun / water: Full sun / every other day or as needed

When I plant it: Late winter or fall, though oregano is very hardy and grows all year long.

What I’ve seen

White flower heads if left to go to seed. It will dominate the bed.

How I use it

Strong. Use sparingly in sauces and broth.
