Smoking Hot Peppers! 🔥
The peppers are spicy and now smoked. The flavor is amazing!
I went into my spicy pepper garden and picked a variety of peppers. We have jalapeños, tabasco, purple cayenne, red cayenne and purple jalapeños. They were smoked on my pellet grill at 170 degrees for 3.5 hours.
How I’ll use them
These peppers have a very distinct smoky flavor. Store them in an airtight glass container (preferably as the smoke and spicy hotness could potentially leach into plastic) and use them sparingly. These are spicy! Remember, many dried vegetables, herbs or food in general usually has a stronger flavor than fresh. I may grind some into smoked chili flakes and add as a pizza topping. Your only limit is your imagination and your heat tolerance!
