Type: Perennial
Sun / water: Full sun / water as needed
When I plant it: Late winter through fall. Separate tubers for transplanting or sharing in late winter or early spring, before blooming.
What I’ve seen
A large variety of colors and variegation. Split them frequently, or the center “hollows” out. Provides showy blooms through spring, summer and fall.
How I use it
Great for landscaping and splitting. One plant can offer several over the years, so they are economical and easy to split.

This profile shares what I have experienced growing this plant in my Central Florida garden. I am not a certified horticulturist, so results in your garden may differ.
